Sing with Nelson Civic Choir in 2024

2024 rehearsals begin on Tuesday 20th February at the Nelson Centre of Musical Arts (NCMA) and continue each Tuesday evening at 7pm.

New choristers are most welcome to come along for a couple of rehearsals to see if it is for them.

Concert programme for 2024

May 2 – 5 ‘Opera Festival’. The Festival includes Masterclass, Live Lounge, and Gala Concerts. This will be at NCMA.

August 24-25 ‘Choral Magnificence’. Concerts feature music by J.S.Bach, C.P.E.Bach, A.Vivaldi and J.Pachelbel. This will be at NCMA.

November 29-30 ‘Joy to the World – A Kiwi Christmas’ – our popular seasonal offering, this time featuring music by New Zealand composers and Southern Hemisphere writers. The concerts will be held at the Nelson Cathedral.
