Concert productions planned for 2026

2026 programme outlines:

CHORAL KALEIDOSCOPE – May 9th and 10th 2026 at NCMA. A programme of some of the world’s favourite and much-loved choral masterpieces p0resented in an enhanced digital and multimedia format and highlighting the versatility of the Nelson Civic Choir under Music and Artistic Director Jason Balla.

ODE TO JOY –  August 8th and 9th 2026 at NCMA. A concert of beautiful and uplifting choral music by the great Ludwig Van Beethoven. Programme includes the youthful Choral Fantasia, orchestral songs and the climactic ending of the 9th Symphony Ode To Joy.

A MYSTIC CHRISTMAS – December 11th and 12th 2026 at Nelson Cathedral. Nelson Cathedral provides the perfect setting for a concert of sublime and moving seasonal music presented by the Nelson Civic Choir. Sit back and enjoy the sights and sounds of this magnificent building filled with festive trees and uplifting choral sounds.
