Hatching, Matching and Despatching

Nelson Civic Choir’s mid-winter concert will open with excerpts from Haydn’s Creation.  As COVID locks New Zealand down yet again, our homegrown composers will be celebrated.  Dorothy Buchanan’s Tempo and Peace Song as well as Chris Artley’s Missa Brevis Akarana will be presented.

Guest artists include: Organist Alan Gray, Cellist Lissa Cowie, and Pianist Anne Shearer; and Soprano Soloist Zoe Dee

Guest choirs include: the Male Voice Choir and the Naycol Chorale.

Conductor: Nigel E. Weeks and Accompanist Pauline Boyd
