NCMA Lunchtime Concert 24th June 2021

Erica Sims and Alison Cormack, two superb local sopranos will be singing a selection of pieces grouped under the heading “Upstairs, Downstairs.”

Nelson Civic choir Alto, Elizabeth Williams has written and commissioned “The Ladies Home Haiku Song Cycle,” one of the selections of songs, which includes pieces by Puccini’s Madam Butterfly. The setting is by William Green and Elizabeth is Narrator for the show.
It’s the very first performance of this work.

The concert is part of the Nelson Centre for Musical Arts Thursday Lunchtime concert series.

The performance starts at 1 pm on Thursday 24th June and lasts for about an hour.
Tickets cost $15, are available on the day at NCMA.
