NCMA Celebration Concert

NCMA Celebration Concert – September 26th at NCMA

This special concert marked 125 years since the opening of the auditorium at the Nelson Centre of Musical Arts, and celebrated the music that continues to fill the building today.

The programme brought together some of the region’s leading ensembles and musicians, including performers from the Nelson Civic Choir, Nelson Symphony Orchestra, Chroma Choir, Nelson Youth Choir and NCMA’s youth string ensemble Schola Musica. Alongside these larger groups, the evening also featured chamber performances from musicians who regularly rehearse and perform at the centre.
